About the Animals

These are my black&white pets/animals/children/daily therapy.

Meet Scooby (Border Collie) and Preston (Bavarian Warmblood)

They are the lights of my life and the reason I’m poor, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I work to support my obsession with these silly boys 🙂

Scooby became a part of our family in March of 2013.

He is a 7 year old Border Collie who is obsessed with balls/frisbees/sticks and fetching in general.

He is my dedicated running partner, but honestly hates running. His preferred mode of exercise is playing Frisbee with Abe.

They  won their first Frisbee competition on UC Davis’ 2013 Picnic Day, only 2 weeks after Scooby joined our family.

He hates being by himself.

But is a total cuddle bug.

And he is a loyal California Calisthenics client.

He’ll even wear this shirt to support his dad!

I got Preston in March of 2005.

He is an 19 year old Bavarian Warmblood that loves a good scratch and roll in the dirt.

He is my fourth horse and the one I’ve owned the longest

He’s also my favorite out of all the horses I’ve owned 😉

He is a giant paranoid/observant/cautious/anxious chicken.

I always say he’d be my best ally during a zombie apocalypse because NO ONE could sneak up on us.

He loves Abe 🙂 (and sunflower seeds)

He also loves bananas. Abe gave him his first banana our freshman year of college and hasn’t looked back. Carrots and apples are okay too.

Preston also loves Scooby. He views Scooby as his sacrificial dog that tests the waters (or just path around the property) before he himself jumps in.

Scooby sees it differently.

But most of all, they are just total goobers that refuse to take a good picture together.
