Scooby is a Bad Co-Pilot

This was easily the highlight of yesterday…

On the way to the barn (with Scooby) I saw signs for a yard sale. Since we are in desperate need of bedroom furniture….2014-08-22 16.35.19

…I decided to stop by and see what they had. There was a really nice six drawer dresser for $40 that I told the woman I would take, if it would fit in the car.2014-08-22 13.08.50It did (obviously), but Scooby had to sit in the front seat. He normally sits in the back all spread out and slug-like, so adjusting to the *small* passenger’s seat was difficult, and very entertaining.

Different Scooby positions:

When we got done with the barn, he remembered that he was sitting in the front seat and waited patiently for me to open the door. He jumped up, and as I walked around to get in the driver’s seat he scrambled into the back seat and settled himself on TOP of the dresser! 2014-08-22 14.53.51Why? I have no idea. But it was hilarious!! 🙂2014-08-22 14.53.58I pulled him forward into the seat and required him to stay there for the ride home, silly boy.

I know its not necessarily safe for a dog to ride in the front seat, but I bet it’s better than riding atop a dresser in the back! I love my dog 🙂
